My girlfriend thinks my online job is a joke

She thinks that it is not a real job because I work online even though it pays our bills and so fourth.I think she wants me to go out and be a constructions worker or somethin to prove my manly hood. Any thoughts??

This just smells like a spam message to me. He gives us some sob story and then he leaves a link to the job that he does? C'mon.

Ok that's understandable.I just really did not like the comment especially the part about it being a sob story.I was just venting and hoping to get some feedback. Sorry that I called you a moron.

Number one, I am a woman. Number two, I am not a moron - I'm in college and maintaining a 4.0 average, while working two jobs. Number three, I have a life. Number four, I just said it sounded fishy to me. Especailly as much as this site receives spam messages. When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm big enough to admit it. But I don't see how your calling me names and acting like a jerk toward me for voicing my own opinion is going to accomplish anything. Have a nice day.

What do you do online? Does she work? because if she doesn't.. I'd tell her not to complain. because at least you are paying the bills. I had a friend thats thinks like that.. thinks working online is a joke and shes acts that way because shes JEALOUS. maybe that could be it? if you don't wanna get outside job then don't. you shouldn't have to proven your manly hood by how you make money.

I do affiliate marketing by the way.I work for www.typistjobs.net and make damn good money compared to her.Not to sound mean but. oh well

I have a similar problem: My husband thinks that this is not a way to make money. He is more a casino guy and thinks that if I wants some cash, I should gamble. "If you lose ok, but if you win, he says, you would have more money than if you were working your way online for a year!" Well, what can you say? My way makes me happy, so I do it and I don't care what he says. After all I am making money and I am not bothering anybody. Isn't that the point?

Well I don't really think you can compare the two in my opinion because if you see results from your online job and realize that it is reliable,you are not gambling your money away! I could see if you lost money with a one time deal,took a chance to see if it was a scam or not.That's much different,I dont think you would keep putting money into the same thing over and over hoping for a miracle to happen right?

I used to get the same treatment from my family and friends who thought I was wasting my time online trying to earn some extra money. Now that they are seeing regular money though its funny seeing them react. Who knows too how many construction workers and other jobs will be laid off with our struggling economy. I'd stay what works for you.
