Has Anyone Ever Tried to Play Something Off?

What I mean is that have you ever made a mistake, tripped, or stumbled and tried to play like it was either what you intended to do or that it never happened or that you are to cool to acknowledge your mistake?

I had experienced that before in my workplace in our program. Instead of stopping and being obvious that I commit a mistake, I just continued normally until I get back at the main line. I felt nervous afterwards. There were also times when I acknowledge my mistake when I am making some demonstration in a certain skill. I did it wrong so I need to correct myself. Thank you!

The thing about this one is that, I from the South Side of Chicago and when people see others stumble sometimes they blatantly magnify your mistakes loudly in public. It can be a little bit embarrassing so people tend to try to play it off so to speak. Thanks.
