Many of our children in conflict with the law badly need support and right motivation. Putting them to prison should be last recourse.

I thought children are being confined at DSWD or some institution. I also believe that childrens who were able to break the law should not be put to jail. Chances are, they might be influenced with bad people inside, or be a subject for abuse.

That is true Long. The situation inside the prison is also dehumanizing. If given the chance they can start new life. Below 15 is still under the care of DSWD.

i not sure to say your right or wrong.I don`t see jail teaching them anything. But on the other hand, how many would follow through in a program?I don`t know what the answer is.You talk to them till your blue in the face, they say ok,turn right around and do it all over again.
