Do you had an au pair before?

Hi. Welcome to myLot. I dont know how to be an au pair but I had au pairs before. Correct me if im wrong but isnt au pair a nanny or a babysitter or something like that? Or is it a tutor? anyways, if you mean a nanny, yeah I had nannies before when I was a kid. They would just pick me up fomr school, take me to school and basically they are my companions whenever I go out of the house. We would play or they would join in when my friends and I are playing. If she doesnt well she just watching fomr the sidelines making sure that I dont hurt myself or something like that. Now that I dont need a nanny we have the hired help. Shes sort of a companion too in a way and shes sort of the housekeeper. I looked up the meaning of au pair and wikipedia says they are 'foreign-national domestic assistant'. I dont know about the foreign part but we treat everyone who comes into our household as part of the family, its our culture. Goodluck in your endeavors.^_^
