Beaty is a curse?

I don't know if it is just me or if other people feel the same way as me. Whenever I see a very beautiful young girl, I feel sad. Not because I could never hope to have her, that is a different story altogether but because I feel that she is going to be the object of desire of many people and it is certainly going to make her life difficult. Having so many admirers could have a negative impact on her personal development and she could just bank on her beauty to get ahead in the world. I know as everybody knows that beauty fades very quickly.

Nope not necessarily. I have seen beautiful women who are proud and confident, infact their beauty gives them confidence. An object of desire? like its just one in a million , that we can find some1 beautiful. There are tons of beautiful people everywhere. But beauty is so much focussed that a women who is not beautiful is a target, of discrimination, low self esteem and some defects.

You could be right in the point about discrimination. What I mean is that maybe beauty might become a burden, I wouldn't know. I am not beautiful myself, not even on the inside. tee hee

I would say beauty is not a burden its an advantage towards life success. When you are beautiful people looks at you with admiration and it helps to boost your self esteem. Its the other way around, if you don't have the beauty it often gives you lack of self confident in a way. So beauty definitely is not a cursed it's a gift that we should be thankful if we have it.

I don't agree at all. Beauty can come with age and experience and isn't necessarily something that only young people have.
Also being beautiful shouldn't make anyones life difficult, and most intelligent women would know how to deal with any admirers without it having a 'negative impact on her personal development'. Lol

I guess I have been around the block a couple of times and I have seen beauty fade especially if it is used to live on the fast lane. Maybe it is just me but I have seen too many instances of what I am talking about. I do hope that people realize that beauty is something that is the same as being plain only more noticeable and often more desirable.

Being smart and confident while being beautiful is always a more admirable trait. Being accomplished in terms of arts and music is also a plus and when these are combined in a single individual they might become unreachable but this is not my point. I am talking about beauty maybe being a hindrance in self-improvement as one might think that beauty is already perfection.

It does seem to be so but then I have the secret hope that everything turns out right for them. I don't mind being wrong in this case.
