what do you do with your computer

Well i am having a computer for the past 9 years and this is my 3rd Computer. As you said yes it is a waste to use a computer or to own one for just playing games and chatting, unless they are with that extreme free time to enjoy. To me its all a different world, as long as i am on the computer i learn a lot of things along with being in contact with my friends, chatting with them, playing games now and then. Let me list what all i do on my computer, 1) Few programming stuff which i try every now and then which i cannot try on the office computers. 2) Managing my own websites to which i sure will need a computer to keep them upto date. 3) Manage my bank accounts and do online trading. 4) Chatting with friends and checking my personal mails which i cannot reply to while in the office. 5) Browsing some news and cricket articles. 6) Now and then playing some games to just have some fun. 7) Some times i watch movies which i download on the internet. 8) Music is what i love while working and almost all the time music will be running on the system. 9) Stores a lot of e-books which i can go through when ever i have to kill some time. 10) Learning lot of new things by browsing various websites. Thanks for the discussion since i felt happy while replying to this as i had to recollect how far i am utilising my computer.

i agree with it. for me, i rather use it to earn money online instead of just watching movie and chit chat. Well, I didn't say we can't chat at all, but not all the time coz not all your friends will online always, right? so, lately apart from earn money like join myLot, I always use it to learn new words that I never learn, find information on learning japanese language (quite tough), keep in touch with friend by blogging lo..

Its a waste if ur just playing. For me computer is to learn and to earn money online. It is also for searching. Your right!

I seldom chat on my computer since no one bothers to chat with me. I use it to learn stuffs online, do research, create projects and of course, make money. It is a waste to use the computer to chat or play game. It is a waste of the processing power and resources.
