Well, this will be my second Mother's Day without my mama. My precious mama passed away two years ago this coming September. I miss her so much. I still have so many precious memories but still miss her so much. I know there are many of you that will celebrate Mother's Day without your moms but we can celebrate the memories.
I have a daughter and a daughter-in-law that I can share our Mother's Day. I have two precious sons and a son=in-law and a great husband. I also have three grandchildren and another one due in September. So there is much to be thankful for and I have so many blessings.
Thanks for letting me share this.

I know how you feel. My Aunt passed away 3 years ago May 6th. So mother's day is so close to the day we lost her, that it is very hard on us. My Aunt was like a mother to my sister. I was very close to my aunt as well.
STILL IN THE HEART
I have this Lady friend
Whose Mother passed away
Moving to a better place
And, a peaceful day.
I know about the pain
That, she is going through
Because the loss of "Mom"
Is the saddest, that is true.
Sometimes, it is a blessing
When their "life" is in decline
Not, what it used to be
When, "everything" worked fine.
But still, it hurts so much
When Mother goes away
When you know you won't see Her
For, forever and a day.
But the memories will be there
And will help, to get you through
When, you're thinking of Mom
And, feeling kind of blue.

I know this day will be hard for you. I still have a mom, but I go through this on Father's Day. I also lost my dad two years ago this September. This seems to be the hardest holiday of them all to me. I am sorry for your loss and I hope you will have a wonderful Mother's Day!

I know it is still very hard to be without a mom on this special day, it gets easier in time, but still it is never the same without her again. I am happy you have all these wonderful people to be with on Mothers Day.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy losing someone and especially a parent. I dread the day I have to share the experience myself. I hope you have faith and comfort in knowing she's waiting for you on the other side.

somebody told me that it doesn't matter how old or young you are, you always feel like an orphan when your parents pass away. you must really miss your mom a lot. But look at the brighter side of things, you have a great family and they love you a lot. :)

We have the same experience. I feel sad now that Mother's day is fast approaching. Now I feel I really miss my mom who passed away due the big C more than 2 years ago. I can no longer greet her and say how much I love her and thank her for the wonderful things she had done for the family. How lucky I am for having her as my mother. Now being a mother myself I feel blessed too for having a wonderful family.

You're truly blessed because even though your mother had passed away you still have your family to celebrate the occasion. I know it's stil sad to do it without your precious mama but then she is happy now and you have to be happy too because she keeps on watching you. Happy mothers day friend!!
