Why is it so easy for some people, but impossible for others to get referrals?

I want to get my free ipod touch from this site http://www.youripodtouch4free.com/index.php?ref=5008800 but I have NO!! referrals. Other people have like 200 and have gotten multiple ipods. Why don't people sign up under my referral number? It would really help me if you did!! THANKS!

Maybe you would have to explain to them the reason why you are referring them to the site. Cheers!
