MAN or a WOMAN........

Both has same target but is different with their approaching. A woman prefers sending signal to his man, while a man prefer to propose his woman symbolically. It has been both nature. The will is inside each heart, only the way shows its difference.

i am married to my wife for 5 years already. we are used to that man has be the one proposing to the lady, because thats what a man has supposwed to do. i can say also that it is a sweet thing when a man proposed to their lady and seeing how much trouble he did just to propose. but i think if a lady wants to propose then why not go ahead and do it. we are use that guys propose but in the modern world i dont see anyting bad about it.

Well i think now woman are much advanced and they are doing everything so why not she propose a man!

Hi monty24! I do prefer that the man should propose to a woman. I find that more romantic. However, it really does not matter if it is the woman or the man who will propose as long as they can hold true with their commitment to each other, then it really does not matter at all who did the proposal. I think it shouldn't matter who asks who to marry who. I mean sometimes I think its good to go outside the usually box of how things are "suppose" to go. I started doing things different when I was younger. I figured if I want a guy I need to go after him and ask him out before I lose my chance. I ask my husband to marry me first. I know he was upset about it because he wanted to ask me, but that was just how I wanted it to be. I wanted him to know that I just love him too much. I did an even crazier thing. I was stationed in Korea and I wanted my engagement ring and I knew he would have trouble getting it for me cause he was in Iraq at the time. I went out and bought my own engagement ring that way everyone knew I was taken.

Personally, I don't think it matters whether a man proposes or not because marriage is something that both parties should discuss and not just agree to because someone popped the question. My hubby never proposed and while I was the one who first brought up the subject of marriage, we went into the whole marriage mode rather automatically - it was like taking our relationship to the next level, so to speak. In this day and age, I'd think that it's okay if a woman chooses to propose or if a man doesn't. It won't change the marriage one bit - as in make it better or last longer.

It is given that a man should court a girl, but nowadays there are agressive girls who really courted boys. Fashion changes and so customs and tradition. There is nothing wrong if a girl wanted a boy and say what she feels but society still play a role, the man is more stronger and more agressive and the girls are submissive.
