Opinions of natural black hair

I have recently transitioned from relaxed to natural and I have noticed that there is a higher number of black women doing the same. For centuries it has been taboo for women of African ancestry to wear their hair without some form of manipulation. Natural hair has become more acceptable, but there is still some resistance. Have you faced or witnessed discrimination because of natural afro-textured hair?

If that is you in the avatar I think you have beautiful hair...I always say wear your hair proud it is self expression...No matter your color or ancestry wear it the way you want too..I have very curly hair natural and I wear it to suit me...Make your self happy that is all that matters...
