computer looks horrible

When I went on my computer this morning, the icons were 4 times the size they normally are. Also, the screen saver I had was gone. The colors change by themselves and are mostly grey and white. The computer looks choppy, pretty much. What's wrong?

either it was restarted in graphics mode or your video card was not working.

yeah, I agree, it could be safe mode. Another guess it that your computer's video card is messed up or maybe your operating system messed up. What was the last thing you did in your computer before this happened?
