Do you or have you ever been to a movie alone? Especially if you're married or with a significan other? My wife works 6 days a week and seldom likes doing things on Sundays her day off other than yard and house work. So I find myself going to movies ever so often just to rid myself of the boredom etc. But now that dad lives with me it's harder to do this. I haven't been to one alone for a few years at least.

hello grandpa bob Hope to find you in lovely spirits today! I've never gone to the movies alone, but I would. I'm not afraid to go out by myself. I used to go out to eat by myself a lot and thats something a lot of people wont do. I will also go shopping or what not. I guess I'm comfortrable by myself. I dont need someone with me all the time. Have a nice day!

Thanks. But nope, I am not in a good mood realloy today. Anyhow I still go out to eat alone and even for just a cup of coffee. But with dad getting to where I fear him falling if I am not here it's hard to do anything actually.

I dont go to the movies alone anymore, & I wouldn't have for at least a few years. Usually it is Dave, myself & my daughter who go to the movies. We only go about three times each year. It is expensive for three people. Often there is not much on that is suitable for all three of us. I dont like the same movies that Dave does.

Here if you hit the early afternoon matinee the cost is significantly cheaper. it costs like $5 before 6 at night otherwise I think it's like $7.50 HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Years ago I realized I had never been to a movie alone. Well, I thought I should remedy this, so the next time a movie came out that looked good, I went alone. It was in the evening I think. I have no recollection of the movie name, but it was about seven years ago. So I crossed that off my 'to do' list, and I haven't done it again since. : )

I have only ever gone to the movies alone once. It was about a year ago. I was out and killing time before I needed to get home to the kids. It was nice and peaceful.

going to the movies is one of my best outlet for stress. The darkness, quiet and everything makes it a perfect relaxing place.

I haven't ever been to the movies by myself, married or single. I don't really like going places like that by myself. I don't know why, I just don't.

The only time I went to a movie alone, was about 31 years ago, my husband was in the hospital, and I just went to the one movie by myself, but I did not like it, it was very boring. I never did it again.

hey grandpa Bob, Yes I sometimes go see a movie alone... well I do not drive to the show alone, as I normally have my 13 year old son with me and maybe a friend of his, they will want to see some rockem sockem blast you out of your seat kind of thing that I have no interest in at all. So I have taken to seeing the movie I want to see separate from them. Not a big deal in fact now that he is old enough to sit in a theater with out a leash I like it much better that way..... LMAO Dad falls asleep no matter the movie and makes a horrible movie date not to mention the wasted price of the movie ticket... we just leave him at home as a rule.

I always go to the movies alone... i like it that way since i can concentrate on what i am watching... my husband doesn't like the movies that i like... so i gave up asking him to come with me... Watching movies alone is like a break for me from a tiring week of working and taking care of my baby... i do it every other week...

I have been to several movies alone. The last one I saw alone was DreamGirls. My son and hubby didn't want to see it so i went by myself on a sunday afternoon and it looked like there were many other mothers on their own too lol.

I have never been to the movies alone. I don't really care much for going to the movies, as I get restless. I usually go when a relative or friend asks. But I do not like it enough to go by myself. But the one good thing about going by yourself is that when you come back with snacks or from the restroom, you do not have to worry about finding the other person in the dark, LOL.

I really don't like to go to movies alone, but I can and WILL go if I want to see a movie and can't get anyone to go with me. For example, I went to Rocky Horror Picture Show, first run, in a nearly empty theater, by myself.

Nope. Never went to see a movie alone. I've had a creepy experience when I was a teenager. I had the misfortune to be seated next to a man who was an exhibitionist. I was even with my friends but that didn't discourage him to pull out his p*nis and play with it!After that episode, I never dared go to the cinema by myself. When I do go to the cinema, my husband comes with me. But we rarely go see a movie anymore. Usually, we just stay at home and watch cable movies or from DVDs.
