Different friends? Or similar friends?

Some people like different friends while others prefer similar ones. How about you? I'd like to make friend with those who are similar to me. It is easier. Besides, having lots in common, we can do lots of things together. Thank you for your responses in advance.

I am lucky enough to enjoy a wide range of friends. people from every walk of life. I believe this makes me richer.
