Do you act differently around someone...

I heard someone say something today that troubled me. They did something crazy and I commented on their behavior and they said, "I don't care, I'll never see these people again." Do you act differently around those whom you feel that you will never see again? Do you act the same around everyone? What is your logic?

No I don't. I am generally me. I think behaving wildly may come back and bite you in the end. Not to sound like Popeye, but I am who I am. Besides, the world really can be a small place. You never know when you may bump into someone.

I don't act any differently, even if I might not ever see those people again. I have always just been myself in most situations. That is not to say that I don't act differently is different situations, I mean you are not going to act the same at a formal dinner party as you do when you are out camping with friends, but other than that I am always just myself

I feel like I am myself around most everyone...I may be less intense in the company of someone in a fragile state or in a situation of somberness...but all in all I am the same person throughout most of my interactions..I am outgoing and try to engage people in conversation, I am caring and sharing..I just don't see the point in treating those I may never see again with any less respect than those I will see daily.

I act the same way around everyone I meet. For one because you may see those people again then you'll feel like a complete idiot. I am always myself. You don't want to send the wrong message to people even if you don't know them because later on they may be who you need to get a job or something. Then all they'll remember is the stupid thing you did around them.

I've known lots of people who act like that and then claim it didn't matter because they'd never see them again! If anything, I'm the total reverse...I'm crazy (in a good and funny way) in front of my friends who know me, and around others that I don't know, I'll be more reserved in what I feel I can do or act like. I'd like to say I act the same around all, but it's simply not true...with my friends, I feel like I'm free enough to be relaxed, let my hair down, and not have to worry about everything I say or do.

Well it really does depend who the people are, if I am going to work I must act one way with my boss, which is very different from my co-workers and friends, they when I was in university I have to act and speak a certain way in front of the professors to be respected and taken seriously, but
with friends or strangers that are just ordinary people I just act like me,

Not really. The only thing I can think of is I am kinder and more forgiving around children and animals.
