The mother's Day is here so I want to write someting as a mom I am. I'm single and was single all my life. Have my daughter was my best option in life and I never regret for this. Life have hard ways sometimes and many times I sheded tears since I didn't knew the best way to pay the bills, pay the food and pay for all she needed. I needed to pay a woman to care my daughter when I was in the work. Meantime I needed to got my doctorate to earn more. So I did that with many sacrifices, learned English by myself since I don't had money to pay a school. Well I got it and begun earn more. Before this I needed to economize money for 3 or4 months to buy a new pair of shoes or a new clothes because all my money was to care about my daughter. In this time I was a young and pretty woman but I never was regreted to spend my money with her and nothing with me. The years gone and now my daughter is a beautiful girl with 20 old and study robotic engineering. Today morning she ask me what gift I want for Mother's Day and I answer: all I want and need you already give me. She said what I already give you? I don't buy nothing yet. And I said you are here, you exist. I'm crying when I'm writing this post because many women don't like and don't want hers babies and I know that they never know what they are losing forever. Every smile from my daughter is a treasure and see she happy is my happiness. She is all for me. In the Moter's Day all the sons and daughters write things and buy expensives gifts for their moters. Today I want to do something different: I,as a mother write to say that for a mother her son or daughter is, already, the most valuable gift that we receive from life. All sacrifices are joy for our heart. If I need to start my life again, I will did the same again. And for all the women here I want to say: never regret to be a mother because God give you the ability to create a life and this is the better gift in the world.
Have a happy Mother's Day and blessed be all you myloters moms

Teka this brings a tear to my eye. I would never trade my baby for anything in this world and even things get tough, I have her to look at and it brings me back up. Mothers day isnt about gifts or expensive things, Its about love. and its about the journey of motherhood. And what a gift that is in itself!
I'm glad to here you've raised a wonderful daighter. Happy early mothers day I hope your day is filled with joy!

well mothers day is the most important day in my life. i do care my mother... but sometimes i do take her for granted.
it is the day to express her how much you love her, be close to her.

Being a mother is a full time job in itself and being a single mother has to be doubly hard. I have four children. Three are here for me most the time. The oldest sometimes ignores me now he has a wife and children and they take all his time. We rarely see them though he lives not far from us only 30 miles. This breaks my heart as I love all my children. But I think he is slowly coming around to be more in our life again. I pray this is so. I deeply miss my own mother now gone for 3 years and wish with all my heart I could tell her again how much I love her. But I did send her flowers and called her and visited as often as I could and wrote letters. My son the one who is distant used to like this poem: He needs to get reminded of it again
If you have a mother,
Handle her with care
For you'll not know how much
You miss her
'Til you see her empty chair.
