How many of you have bad credit?

I went to the bank today to apply for a loan and was amazed to find out I got declined because of my credit. The credit score itself was not a revelation to me,I suspected it was what they politely call "fair"... What got me mad is that it was based on 3 late credit card payments!... I was even told I'd be more than fine if not for that darn credit card. I know some people who are stuck in debt and they still somehow get approved for loans, how does that happen?

I don't have any debt nor do I have any credit and I plan on keeping it that way. I own a home, have a business etc but I refuse to pay 20% interest on something. If I can't pay for it in cash then I don't need it badly enough.

I know,I've never even wanted to get a credit card cause I know it's not my money. It might be convenient and easy to use but in the end you'll pay way more than needed. Don't want to get anymore credit cards...:)))))

The best we manege our life, the best we build our credit.A person who has just started building his credit can not be approved for a loan like that. You have to build your credit by paying all your bills on time and never miss a credit card or insurance payments.May be your credit was new and because of the 3 late payments.Be patient,do not give up and start building your credit by paying all your bills on time.
