Mother's Day!

Well, I might get my mom a new pair of shoes. She loves shoes and I guess she would be very happy if I get her a new pair.

Hi,all It's my first day here,I'm a Chinese boy in shanghai China and happy mothers day to everyone on mylot.

I am getting my mom a cd. I wish it would come in the mail. It might be a late mother's day present. I hope she likes it. I also got her a dvd of the movie The Lake House. Of course I like that movie myself.

I'm already done fore Mother's Day. I didn't expect the gifts to get there so soon though. I got my mom two blouses, she's not into jewerly and unless it's a plant, she doesn't care for cut flowers. I wanted to get her a cute pair of thong sandels, but it didn't have her size. I got my mother in law a cute pink pot with miniture roses, a flower that will come back each year. I got my step mother in law a multi colored Journey necklace. All three got a mother's day card, which my two girls signed. My mom got her gift and card all on the same day, funny how the mail system works, so days slow, some days really fast. In this case, really, really fast.

That is a nice gift for your mom. My sisters and I went in together and bought her 3 rosebushes for her new yard. She has received them already and is very excited about them.

[/b][b]This year, i'm going to make it special for my mom, i am a mother too. I will surprise her for an outing. I prepare for this with the help of my brother and sister. Prepare from food to bring, the location, the card and banner for mother's day. She know that i'm going to give her something ususual as giving a card that i made or a flower then as i grow with a cake or baloon. It is very unusual to buy cake and flower on her special day, now its diferrent because i'm going to change the location as she didn't want to go because of our shop. Her shop and i and my brother shop too. [b][/b] happy mother's day

My mom lives an hour and a half away, and i probably won't be seeing her for mother's day...if i were, i'd give her a bouquet of flowers cuz she loves flowers, but since im not seeing her, i'll call her for sure and probably send her an e-card. As for myself, it's my first mother's day YAY!!!!!! we're going out to brunch with my brother, his gf and their 5 yrs old son, my dad, his wife and her son.

I bought my mom a pair of house shoes and a robe. I may pick her up some flowers or something too if I get time tomorrow...and I'm going to take her out to eat.

I just got her a nice top that I'm sure she'll like. Usually ilike to go all out and spend quite a lot on mum but as times are tough she just has to get what she's given! I'm sure she'll appreciate it though.

Since I have no money till next payday which is a week from today, I will be putting off her present till next weekend. Will be getting her some type of flowering bush like I do every year. I do that because today is her b-day and mother's day is right after. A combo but nicer/lil more expensive present.

Me, i will do the dishes and the laundry. Since my older sister is a massage therapist she will do the massaging and pampering. My father will do the cooking and singing, while my younger will definitely share the eating and the loudest greetings. Way back i like to make a card, with drawings of us loving my mother but since I have so many things to do, this is what i have in mind.

i was thinking of getting her some of those whitman's candies she's fond of.or maybe some cherry cordials,if they don't have those.that's usually what she wants every year,or rather what she says she wants.

Hi molly. I bet your mom would love the book. We siblings plan to get a dinner purse for my mom as her Mother's day gift. She has been planning to get one for herself for the past few months but didnt manage to get one because none caught her eyes yet. So we would that that dinner purse for her and give it to her somewhere in the afternoon where we normally have lunch together. Perhaps later in the evening, we normally eat out to celebrate. I plan to get a small bouquet of flower and also maybe get her to cut a mother's day cake after dinner. We're all excited about tomorrow's dinner and looking forward to it.

I will get her pink carnations and baby's breath. She loves pink carnations they are her favorite flower. So that is what I will get her.

Since I am the mother, my boyfriend is taking me out for dinner and that will be his mothers day present to me. I will call my own mother and wish her a happy mother's day and that is it.

Hi wooitsmolly! haha..that's funny! You better get a book for her then. haha..I am just going to send prayers for my beloved Momma in Heaven and I think she will love that. And I am going to buy a cake for my grandma for she has a sweet tooth. Take care and have a nice day!

Now i study in anther city which is far away from my homecity.I didn't send present to her.I planed to give her the present after i went back to home finishing this semester.I make a telephone to my mother and wish her Happy Mother's Day.She said:"Oh,thanks my daughter,where is my present for Mother's Day from you?"The relation between my mother and me more likely friends,we can make joke to each other.

I made my mom a card and my son painted a sun catcher. Grandparents love stuff like that plus I'm cheap. Lol I know it's horrible but hey it works. Lol

I personally don't have a mom to give gifts to anymore for she passed away when I was 14. I don't have anyone else either for I am not married or in a relationship. I do hope to get a call from my son to say "Happy Mother's Day mom". That right there will mean alot to me. It does make me sad knowing I have no one to give anything to. I wish all you mom's out there a Happy Mother's Day and may it be a special one for you.

She is my best friend, to share and decide. Thats my best mom and she is unbeatable!I love her so much
