I cannot believe that there still some posts that I have made has some impact on other people. It really makes a difference saying a thing or two to someone on the given topic. I just read some of my past posts. I enjoy reading it again. Do you have instances where your way off the point of discussion? How do you make a come back? It may differ.

Some of the posts a made a year ago had no responses last month then suddenly they got bumped back to life and received several. That's myLot I guess. I am not sure whether any of mine have made an impact or changed anyone's life BUT I know for sure there is one couple who will be having a candlelit meal in their own home this evening because I suggested it was cheaper to buy a candle and take it home rather than go out for a meal in a restaurant Is that 'making a difference'?

The only way I get to see old discussions without responses is by checking out other profiles and browsing their discussions. Otherwise, they are never seen at all. In some way, others responses build up a part of a picture of themselves. In some ways I feel that change youmight be thinking about. I guess myloters aren't aliens because of this. I still wonder how a discussion is seen by other myloters. It is just fun to meet other points of view. And for that time, the discussions moved others to respond. I guess that I enjoy building this picture but I sometimes get stuck with an part.

I find discussions with no responses in exactly the same way that you suggest. They then come back to life and appear in the column on the right under 'similar topics' -------- If the discussion catches the eye of another user while it is in that column then it willget more responses and a good discussion that would otherwise have been under cobwebs, resurfaces When users resopnd onmy discussions I make a point of responding on a discussion of theirs and if I find one with no responses I alter that situation.

When I do find the time to re-read some of my posts, it feels as if they were written by some ghost. But then I smile when I think Hey, I wrote that!. And when I see that someone felt better because of what I said, I feel great. Come back jatamogue, mylot is a whole new way of communicating with every one from all walks of life, good or bad, tall or short, stout or thin. What matters is the communication.

Hi eileenleyva, I used to have a lot of time in my hands. And I loved reading and passing time in mylot. Mylot sometimes reflect a different part of ourselves. At the same time, it is mark that reminds us of a wider point of view. I too feel great when I find that I am part of this. I call it "the magic of communicating" with other people. I see that you have found a place here in mylot. I'll try to stick around a bit more longer. :-]
