what do you think about the city banning smoking in front of places that sell food and also from the playgrounds.
i am all for it as who wants to smell smoke when they are trying to eat or go to a playground and hope that your child does not pick up the cigarettes ends and put them in there mouth
what do you think on this subject

it is a good move for your place's city government to ban smoking in public places.... smoking is a personal choice, so smokers should be aware of the people around them....they want to kill themselves in smoking, they shouldn't let others be killed with them....especially with children, they are too young to handle this kind of environment...if it is bad for our health, the more it is bad for children.... their immune system is not used to that yet...

i agree. everyone should have a choice to smoke or not to smoke. it is not fair to make that desciuson for them.

I am a smoker and I am all for it, I love the fact that I can go out for a meal and not have my food enjoyment ruined, in UK we cannot smoke in any public place, so when I go to a pub then if I want to smoke then I have to go outside, which is fine because my clothes do not stink so bad as when everyone used to smoke inside. It works for me, I only now smoke in my garden at home.

I smoke and at first I was peeved when the smoking ban hit Illinois.
As it has gone on, it has helped me smoke less. I'm trying to quit so it works. I think it is a good idea now. I wouldn't want anyone smoking around my kids either.
