How many do you do a day?

How many discussions do you start or respond to in a day. I find it hard to start a discussion some days then others it seems easier. Some days I can not find a discussion I can or feel like responding too then other days I can respond to a few. Do you have days like this and what do you do when you can't think of anything to say or write. Some days I just don't sign on or I go to another social network.

That is good I can't find 20 discussions I want to respond to in a day, I do understand that about having a great downline, although I don't look at any of this as work. This is more like a leisure distraction from my real work.

Some days are tougher than others. I try to do a minumum of 25 posts a day although there are days I have only done 15 and days I have done as many as 50. Just depends on how busy mylot is and how many discussions I can find that I have something to say in.

Ok well when i said posts I meant starting discussions and responding combined. I usually start anywhere from 3 to 5 of my own a day and I try to do a total of starting and responding that lands somewhere between 15 and 50.

It varies for me depending on what is going on in my life. I work a Full time job, and then somedays have other things going on, so there are days I am lucky if I post at all, and then there are days that I am quite active in here, and post quite a bit. On the average, I post to about 20 or so discussions. As for starting a New discussion, it depends on what my mood is. I go in spurts it seems.

Hi billionaire I have days like you where I cannot think of a discussion to put in or an answer to a discussion and usually sign off for the day as the next day sometimes is better. I have in the past started a discussion and it has been a fizzer and thought about maybe I should not have put it it in start with. Some days are better than others, so I just go with how I am feeling on the day. xx

Hey caramello, I am with you I just go with the flow, like today I felt like starting a few and I even responded to a few of them. But there are other days that I can't even think of anything to say.

It really depends on the discussion and time I have here in mylot. Sometimes, I make more than 50 posts if I spend the whole day responding to my friends/ other new discussions here in mylot. With regard in creating my new discussion, I only do it if I have something in my mind.

I have a few days every now and then that is seems that there is nothing intresting to respond to and then days that Icant seem to stop responding to discussions. I dont keep track of how many I respond to because to me that dosnt matter. Days that I really dont have an opnion I just walk away for a day or 2 and then come back and see what happins. Often times when that happins I am just not in the mood amd I dont bother.

For me, it really just depends on the day and how much time I have that day. I am sort of like you-I don't always sign on every day. I try to get on and do at least a couple of posts each day, but it doesn't always happen. Sometimes I'm just not that motivated on certain days, or I'm just so busy that I don't really have the time to do it anyway. When I am signed on, I like to try to make at least 25 posts, but that doesn't always happen. If I have a lot of time during the day, then I try to make a bigger goal, like maybe 50 or more. I think the most I've ever done was around 100, but I was pretty exhausted by the end of all those posts!

Some days I have a total brain fart and I can't think of anythign to post while other days my brain is bursting with ideas! Like today I guess. I don't really ahve a set amount of posts I set out to make, I just 'know' when I've had enough. Usually when I've run out of topics to discuss I kind of end it there because I don't want to be posting useless discussions on things I don't really care about just for the sake of it. At the moment, I've been on mylot for a couple of hours, I've posted heaps, responded to a few and I'm ready to go face the real world and do some housework!

Hi billionaire, Heck, there are days that pass by where I don't start any discussions at all. There are days I only answer one or two. Then, there are some days I start dozens of discussions and respond to dozens more. I can't determine if it's a mood I get into or if my little brain just doesn't get stimulated enough. I think the biggest part of it is being selective. There are certainly dozens of discussions I wouldn't begin to respond to. I can sometimes think of topics I consider using for discussions, but with the thought process being what it is, and the response from some people, (that I had just as soon not have), I draw back from and refrain from beginning many discussions, as well as participating in them. There are just some discussions I choose to stay away from. In some cases, the level of intelligence has left me in a quandry......... For us who are on a different level of conciousness, I think we find it difficult to locate a meaningful discussion due to our frame of mind nad level of intelligence. We need deeper stimulation to activate our response mode.

As the saying goes, "You can't have them all". There are days when I really want to log in to mylot and participate in discussions but I just don't have the time because I have school and work and stuff to do around the house. There are also times when I want to start a discussion but I don't know what topic to write about. Oh well... that's the way it goes.

Well for me, i try to start at least one discussion a day and then try to post 5-10 comments. Sometimes i thought i had a discussion in mind but when i sit in front of my monitor, my mind goes blank. I can't even remember what topic i'm going to start writing.

I try to do at least 25 posts a day. Somedays I make that plus more and other days I am lucky if I post ten. It just depends on more than one thing. Sometimes I can't find a discussion I want to respond to and sometimes I feel that I need to go and do something else since I can't get interested in mylot. When that happens I just leave mylot for a time and it may be the next day before I come back. But most days and I can make the quota I have put in my mind I want to make.

Hello billionaire5, The maximum number of discussions that I have started of my own in a single day were 3. I do not start many discussions otherwise. Sometimes, it's weeks or even months that I would start a discussion of my own. The last one I started was about a week ago. The maximum length of time within which I didn't start a discussion of my own was around 5 or 6 months. I am not regular with responding either. Sometimes, I respond to only one discussion in a day and sometimes it is around 10. The maximum number of discussions that I have responded in a single day here were yesterday. I responded to 24 discussions. On average I respond to around 5-6 discussions. My overall average is just above 4 per day as I have been here for over a year now. I have also taken breaks from here, from as short as few days to about a couple of months.

For me , it varies day to day. On days when my other job puts a lot of pressure and stress on me, I just can't focus on posting things for discussion or responses. Weekends and holidays are better for me to exchange ideas with mylot friends !

hi billionaire5. i average around 15 - 20 quality posts a day. i hardly start any discussions although i did start a few already. i agree that in some days there are a lot of discussions that you can post in. other days are really tough as there aren't enough discussions to go by here in mylot. it helps that you constantly widen your interests here in mylot as you'll find out that you'll have more discussions to post in. i've made it a point to look through each discussion to find a good topic. hope this helps. thanks!!!
