Is there a good book on computer repair?

If your having problems with virus's then I would suggest a good Virus Scanner and keep it set to scan upon Access that way you access a file it is scanned before it opens. other issues your internet search feature works real good (why buy a book)

The best way to learn it is by experience, start first with protecting your PC to malicious malwares. The best source is the internet because it is always changing, most of the time old solutions don't work on new problems anymore and try to learn from the experiences of others, by reading forums and review sites.

Acutally you do need really need a book to know how to repair your computer. Use the internet to research unless your pc is not down. If your computer is getting infected, get a firewall(comodo firewall) and anti-virus(avg) software first. Next make it a habit to scan files before you open them , including your flash drive. If you need more help visit technical website like cnet.com to learn. But if you insist on getting a book than i would recommed getting those books titled "For Dummies". They have got a good line up of books based on various things and are quite popular with beginners..hope this helps
