I started a discussion the day before yesterday, then this man responded to my discussion ,said he got a online job for me.I wanted to give it a try.So we talked about the details through msn.It was a easy job.You just need to upload videos from a website to his website. He was nice at first, not after I made I tiny mistake.
he gave a list of usernames and passwords so that I could use different usernames to upload videos to his website.I need to upload 20 videos under each username. But I uploaded 21 under one username and 22 under another by mistake.I told him I was sorry, and I would try not to make mistakes anymore. But he wouldn't let it go.He insulted not only just me but also my people.I was pissed by his mean words, but I tried to be polite ,I didn't want to be just like him.I said,"If you think you are noble by insulting others, then you are not. Those mean words only prove your miserable existence."You know what,he is a bad man.I really don't want to repeat what he said to me,you know those dirty mean words,I think only people just like him deserve those words.
You can said mean words to me,but you don't have to insult my people.Whom does he think he is?Insulting other nation? He is a racist? He think they are better than everyone else?
I really wanted to say,"screw you, yankee!"But I didn't .It was his fault, not his people. But you know what,he insulted my people!
Now I have to say because of him,I really don't have too much good feelings left about Americans.Sorry,if you are American,I don't that mean that to you.

Yes,you are right. Most of the Americans are nice. But you know what,I maybe it's just by coincidence.I started another discussion about a 60 year-old man tried to do harm to me,who is also American. That's why I don't have too much good feelings left .
Forget it,I guess I was just unlucky.
We have many good individuals here at myLot,who are nice Americans, right?

I have to make a small comment on this one. Although people live in the US, everyone has to realize one thing!!! Lots of people that live here are new to Western Civilization, Many cultures here with many different beliefs. I happen to work with many different cultures and lots of time because of thier lack of the English language they are insulted by things I say. People from other countries must realize that in the English language one word may have many uses. Now bad nasty words are unexceptable from anyone. Some people are just plain rude and nasty, but that is something they have to live with not you. For all you know he may be a Native from your country. I have met nasty people from all kinds of nationalities but I would never degrade a whole culture because of this. As soon as he said something nasty to me the discussion would have stopped. You are better than that and deserve much more respect.

I am an American and Ican totally understand where you are coming from there are times that I dont like my people either. I take no offence at all because I know it is not me personally that you are upset with. that guy had no right at all to insult you because you accidentally miscounted. We all do that at times and it is not a crime.

sorry to hear that.
I also hate those racists, especially those who feel arrogant just because they are living in a so-called powerful and civilized country.Very naive , simple and pathetic! .However, racist would never reprsent their country, and I think you just met the wrong guy, a little unlucky. I have not worked with American guy ever, but I worked with an Indian guy several months ago, doing the similar job as you. He is a nice guy, and we both had good impressions on each other. Also we both hope to cooperate in the future.
there are many nice guys online, so just let that bad guy go. Life goes as well as before without his offer.
have a nice day!

Ok, I am an American and trust me, you can't judge all of us by him. Of course, what you were asked to do sounds like a scam and you may have been doing something illegal to boot. Based on that, he may have been trying to hide his identity and he may not be an american at all.
If I were you, I would be more careful with who you are dealing with and what you are doing, you really don't need to get in trouble or have legal problems because of someone misleading you.

Right. You mean,I can get myself in trouble by doing that?He offered those usernames and passwords. And he has a link uploading from youtube.com ,which is that site I need to upload videos from in his site.I didn't think much about that.I thought maybe youtube was his own site too.Silly of me! Now I'd rather believe he is not an American,he is just a random guy of no nation.

I am an American, I take no offense to what you said. First let me say it sounds like a bit of a scam, and perhaps you should turn it into someone to look into. Second I am sorry that you went through something like this, their are those type of individuals in ever race, religion and country. I am just thankful you got out. You never know what may have been instore for you had you continued.

Honey that happens to all of us...My daughter went to NYC with her boyfriend to meet some of his relatives and got the surprise of her life. The people there called her a redneck, stupid southerner, cotton picker and many other names I can't repeat here.
She in turn just looked at them and smiled. You see she is proud to be a southern belle so she just let it run off her back like water off a duck. After a while these people shut up and began to ask her questions about the beaches and Disney World. He boyfriend and his relatives kept apologizing for these mean NYC people, they had no idea that they hated people from the south. I sure hope that this one person will not make you harbor bad ideas about all Americans. We are not all created the same when it comes to other people from other countries. Some are just naturally that way...

Whatever mistakes u made, it's just on your own.. So wat makes him think that he has the rights to scold your ple?? He's definitely a racist and despise ple.. So if he's so great, then y dun him do the uploading himself, y should him be lazy to pay ple to upload for him..
Anyway, it's not worth it to do this kinda thing for him anymore, after all, u might not know wat u will get for doing all that..

you didn't find something strange about that person and the site you were on or what you were doing. Why would you have other people's user name and password. When you made the mistake of putting more than one he the account; the person flipped on you. Don't you see something wrong there???

I am sorry that you have had a bad experience with this man, but for every ignorant buffoon there are lots more people who are not ignorant, do not let this one man cloud your judgement of everyone else. He sounds like a real horrible person to do that to you and I am sorry that you are so upset by it, he should not have used insults to you or your people at all.

He is an individual who is a jerk. I'm sorry you had to work with one. I hate it when people are working one on one and then make a generalization about a group based on the action/mistake or something that one person is or did. It's really rude, especially since it was just one mistake that anyone could make. I'm personally OK with making generalizations in the right context, like when you are discussing a people as a whole, or a group as a whole. But whenever you are doing that those involved in the discussion need to be smart enough and mature enough to understand that a generalization is not meant to be applied to any one person. It's like when you look at statistics, a majority of 65% are this, that doesn't mean that if you talk to a random person from that group that you should begin by assuming he/she is part of the 65%. Not all Americans are like that, I'm glad you know that. I hope it doesn't ever happen again.

Dear, this guy was a jerk and treated you very unfairly. There's no excuse for the way her spoke to you. Jerks do run rampid, every where in this world, but yes in AMerica. There are plenty of them here, believe I have to deal with them on a daily basis. But that doesn't mean we are all this way.
Have you reported this guy's business yet? I'm almost positive he was having you do something that is illegal. There are laws that protect the copy right priveledge of the people who originally added those videos to utube. If you are unsure what to do check out this site, and file a claim. If he gets busted in the future, he can pull you down with him. FInes can be as high as $250,000 and jail time can range from 5-20 years.

Worse case in your situation if you do report him, it will turn out to be nothing and your time is gone.

It sounds a little dodgy to me to begin with, but he does sound mean, most bosses are willing to give you a few chances when you first start. Everyone will have teething problems in whatever job they are doing.

You're not the only one, and it's been going on for years and years! It seems that some Americans make a bad name for us all. In 1958, "The Ugly American" was published, addressing this issue of arrogance and being judgmental. Here's a little blurb from the book:
"A mysterious change seems to come over Americans when they go to a foreign land. They isolate themselves socially. They live pretentiously. They're loud and ostentatious."
That pretty much describes what that man was like, doesn't it? He thought he was better than you and looks down his nose at your people.
He has just shown what a mean, ignorant little person he is and I guarantee you that he's not fit to sweep your porch. And he probably has a tiny little (you know what) because that's what troubles a lot of men that are like that--you know the type, the ones with the huge cars that flash money around and treat people like dirt? Well, that's the guy you dealt with!
He has to live with himself, poor thing. And remember, what he dishes out is what will return to him! I'm not offended that you had bad feelings about Americans because that's natural. I've read enough of your writings that I know you have good judgment and will get over this quickly, back to the sweet and sane person you are.

Truly you should be appalled, but to me the whole deal sounds fishy and not on the up and up. Though I am an American, I do not take offense, because there are just such people in every race, and nationality. I am truly sorry that this happened to you my friend.
