Your watch.

Do you wear a watch? If so do you wear it on your left or right hand? Is it leather, plastic, gold or silver? Is it expensive? Was it a present? can you not live without a watch? I've gone for a pretty long time without a watch but since I began vet nursing I've had to wear one to count pulses etc. To be honest watched annoy me and I wasn't prepared to go and buy an expensive one when it's just going to get blood and gunk all over it anyway. My watch cost me $7 and I quite like it. It's plastic and looks quite bright and cheery for work. It's so cool infact that another nurse from work went and bought one exactly the same. So what's your watch style?

Hmm...interesting discussion. My watch & my wife's watch are actually a pair. It's a Polo brand, the metal clip on type thingy, I'm sure you know. Well, mine is a bit bigger for guys & hers is smaller - typical girl's watch. But here's the interesting story: She wears her watch on her right hand; I wear mine on the left. We bought the watch from the same shop but at a diffrent time. I needed a watch, so she bought it for my birthday. A year later, same store, this time it was her birthday & she needed one, so we decide to buy the other one - it's the same pair. I guess it just takles 2 tango, eh? Hahah!~

I love to wear watch on my left wrist. I don't move out of my home without wearing one. At present I have eleven watches. This collection is a mix of some expensive and some not so expensive watches. Most of them are with leather strap and others have silver or golden chain. Since my childhood, I wish to have one Rado watch with black rectangular dial and scratch proof chain. I don't know whether I would ever be able to afford this in my lifetime.

I don't wear watches any more. They make me hot. I was also killing them. Battery ones seemed to die quickly, and I've always over wound the winders. I used to sweat and eat the steel ones, and the sweat would get into the stem on the one gold one I had and finally killed that one too - it was a self winder. Now I just use my cell phone to tell time.

Nope, I don't wear a watch. I carry my cell phone pretty much everywhere, so I'm able to look at it to know what time it is. If I were going to get a watch, I think I'd want a pocketwatch, just because they are very cool. :)

I don't wear a watch, I use my mobile to check the time if I'm out of the computer at home. I have one of those wrists that tends to send watches doolally, so they never lasted on me. My parents bought me some beautiful expensive watches over the years, but none of them lasted long which is just a shame. The ones that I could always wear the longest were the cheap horrible ones that you buy in petrol stations!

I wear a digital watch with a leather band. It is a new watch because my last watch finally stopped. I can remember when I got it.I wear it on my left wrist but I amd left handed.I like my watch. Not only does it tell me the time , it tells me the date.

Mine's an armitron. The band is a kind of plastic-rubber, and black. The watch itself is stainless steal, the face is a durable glass and it's semi-waterproof, and works in army time. I quite like it. I usually wear it on my right hand, not every day, but if I go out to a flea market, or to work (when I have a job) I do wear it 'cause I tend to need it then. Otherwise I don't concern myself a whole lot with time.

I don't usually wear a watch but on occasions i do - when they're actually working! I wear it on my left wrist since i am right handed! My facourite one has a leather band with a rectangle face, it was a gift from my parents when i was 16 & i'll be 27 this year! It's just a really nice watch, not over the top but not childish either - it goes with just about everything too! I guess i wear whichever i feel the urge to wear, my other watch is a more childish watch that i received from a friend, it's got a nice purple band & has Eeyore on the face, the other one i have is a bright plastic banded one that my Mum found for me from an Avon catalogue which has Winnie the Pooh on the face. As i said, i usually wear a watch when i think i'll need one & when i have one that is still working, most of my watches are in need of a battery change so i haven't got a working one at the moment!

I had a huge watch with a second hand when I was in nursing school. It worked quite well and I liked it. It was a big old Timex - about $20.00. Since then I haven't worn one. I think it has to do with having a cell phone around with me wherever I go and being able to look at the time on that. Or else the time is on the computer screen. I do miss wearing one sometimes, but when I get one will have to be a bracelet style or a leather band since I get metal rashes.

I wear a watch set with the time clock at my preschool because all the flippin clocks in there are set at different times and it drives me mad. Mine is a cheap watch. It's a Care Bears watch. I don't really wear watches outside of work though. I have some nice ones, but I'm just not really a watch person.

My watch has dark brown leather straps and costs about $12. I bought it at a mall in my workplace when my sister asked me to give her my old watch. She liked it because of the plastic straps and nice dials.

I have a beautiful gold watch I wear on my left wrist. It was a present froma a special friend, I have never had it appraised so I have no idea of what it is worth, other than the world to me. It is a fossil and has a diamond in the face. I am very proud of it, and I feel completely naked with out it. When I was nursing I wore a leather banded watch mostly of the cheap variety. just because of the problems you have mentioned here.

I always wear a watch on my left wrist, except when i am taking bath or shower. Its golden and a present from my sis in Canada. The previous watch I had was bought by me several years ago. Its a remembrance from an incentive pay that i received.

I used to wear a watch on my left wrist and usually I bought pretty inexpensive ones. My all-time favorite one washed up on an isolated beach while we were on vacation and it was still ticking! I spent $2 or $3 on a nicer band and wore that watch for years. Then we found another one I really liked at a dollar store--it was $6 or $8--and I bought it and wore it for several years. However, when I started carrying a PDA, that enabled me to stop wearing a watch as well as carrying quite a few other things--pen, calculator, flashlight, address book, and more. So now I am liberated from watches. Hubby still wears one though.

Hi coffeeshot! I have 3 watches actually. One was from my beloved late mother and it was a gold watch but I rarely wear it. The other one was a gift from my hubby, it is a leather watch. And the one that I am always wearing is a cheap watch that has a silver (but not real silver) strap. I just bought that for a dollar. haha..Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!

I have a black watch with a skull in the middle. Not as bad as it seems, it's a watch I got in Las Vegas in a store called Everything For $10. I love it! I wear my watch all the time, on my left wrist.

I like to wear a nice watch. My boyfriend got it for me on my birthday.I'm sure it was pretty expensive cuz it looks it. Most people wear their watch on the left and that's why I wear mine on the right.
