How do I give someone a best response I do not see anything but + and - so where do I find the best response, if it is right there under my nose and I can not see it please be kind at 6Am this morning I was standing in the fog at the pay phone trying to find out why they cut off my phone and internet. Ao it has not started out being a good day. If you can help me I sure would appreciate it.

As I am sure you have found out by now, I will still tell you just incase. It is right beside the persons avatar. It is a link that says best response. I only clean up my discussions once a month, before the end of the month, by giving out best responses because I want to give a lot of people a chance to respond to it before I pick it, as I want to make sure I am giving out the best response to the best response. I have given out the best response after a day and then I get a lot more responses and I would like to change it to a different one, but can't. So now I wait for a few weeks to give everyone a chance.

And now that I have responded and can see all of your other responses, I do it through my emails, I can see you got the answer you were looking for, good for you. I also see you haven't picked a best response on this discussion, and I have to ask why not? Do you not bother marking them or have you just not gotten around to it. I see this discussion is three months old so you have had time to do it, but for whatever reason you haven't done this one.

You can only give a best response to a post in discussions you have started and not in other people's discussions. When you read responses in your own discussions you should find the link to award best response next to the username in each response. I don't think it makes you dense to ask the question. I hope you have sorted out your phone and internet problem.

As far as I know a + means positive a - means negitave and the ! sign is when you want to alert mylot about a discussion about something that doesn't look right to you. I rate everyone with a + myself. With all of the discussions I answer.

'Best Response' is only available for the discussions that you start. For the rest of the responses in a discussion, you get the plus and minus symbols.
