University as a signficant culture force has brought itself to wide recognition and undeniable high social status. Therefore, studying in a university considered one of the most valuable experiences in one's life.In our society ,the most commonly recognized standard of a student's academic zchievement is the degree.A good degree usually means a decent and well-paid job. Some people regard the degree as the only thing valuable while studing in college.Admittedly ,the degree is essential for students who want a prosperous future, but it is by no means the only opportunity university grants us.

Yes you are correct, degree has an important part to play in one's career and it is the mode which determines how you can get a job. Usually a good degree gets us a good job but also a university has many other prospects like student culture, friends, etc.

Education is indeed one of the valuable things that any person should be granted with. It molds the nation through the citizens.
As important as it is, not everyone is given oppurtunity to study, let alone step into a college or a university wherein they could earn a degree.
All degrees are good. It proves an individual's achievement in terms of academics yet, not all who do get to claim a degree are certified with a decent and well paying job. More often, even if one does claim a degree, the work doesn't comply with the degree that one claimed. Being practical with the job oppurtunity since, even jobs can be learned.
Then there are those who amazingly do well even without the degrees that one can get through colleges and universities.
Having a degree is not bad. Simply adds an advantage no less. However, it still depends on the individual on how s/he'd manage his or her own path towards that prosperous future. Other things are developed through those institutions like building confidence, being well with social interactions and communication skills.

Undoubtedly, the university dgree is a most significant factor to be considered when an employer wants to hire a person. But as to a person of ability, talent shows itself. "A piece of gold, wherever it would be placed, it shines!"---A old Chinese saying.
