Does anyone know what this bush is called?

Unknown Flowering Bush - I'd like more of these, if I just knew what it was called!

I wasn't aware that it bloomed. When I moved here last May, there had been a hard frost that prevented many things from flowering and to my surprise this bush by my back door has beautiful white flowers! I'd like to get some more of them to go along my fence. After all, more flowers and bushes mean less grass to mow! I've attached a picture I took of it this morning.

The photo isn't good enough to properly identify it. But if I had to guess not knowing what zone you are growing it, I would say it is probably "Viburnum". Do an image search and see if that is correct. I will be gone today so I will check back this evening to see if that is what it is. Good Luck

I came to myLot to answer plant and gardening questions. Specifically plant identification because I saw a lot of wrong answers when someone asked to identify a plant. You might not be able to find viburnum at your local Wal-Mart or Lowe's. You would probably have to go to a nursery to get Viburnum.

I was going tosay Brunsfelsia or yesterday today and tomorrow but that starts out a soft blue then fades to a pinky blue then on the third day to a bluish white. So there goes that theory. it could be a white blooming spirea as they have lush gorgeous white blooms but cannot really tell from' the photo. sorry not to be of more help.

You have been of help! I'm looking for some flowering, pretty bushes to put along my fence and in the back alley-why shouldn't an alley be as beautiful as the front of a house? I'll look into the Brunsfelsia next time I'm where they sell plants. Any suggestions I get are of help, even if they aren't what I asked about. I'm very happy to have that snowball bush, as it turned out to be. I was going to get one but it's been so long since I saw one (I think it was over 40 years ago!) that I didn't recognize it. Thanks for your post!
