Is there some story about your username you are using here at mylot? How did you come out with your username? How long have you been using it? Is it always the same username you are using in all your other money making online project on the internet? Is there some supertition attached to it?
I have been using mine since I created my yahoo email address. There are other username name I used like, juantamad, pedropenduko, kevin_kosme, etc., which are basically based on some Philippines ancient and modern folklore. I finally decided to used this one, which I base on my firstname (roberto), my birthdate (19), and my country abbreviation (ph). At least uniques in the scene that it really represent something I have in common with. There is no lucky number or supertitious connected to it. It's just me.
How about you guys? Any interesting connectinon or story about your username? Please share your thoughts.

I have used this username since I signed up for an account with blogger. I wanted "underdog" because I was feeling down and underdoggy at the time but, the name was obviously taken; there was one who was ahead of a few thousands of other people who also felt like that so, I decided to get the next best one "underdogtoo".

I joined only one money-making site (that is here in mylot). My username here is somewhat alike to my email address in yahoo. I only added a few letters so that i can easily distinguish it from yahoo and other email adds. It actually is my nickname for real and i added numerics to remind me of the month and year i started signing up in yahoo (September 2002). I used that username/email add since then.

Golden Eagle was the name of my first business attempt way back in the late 90's. I liked the name, so I tucked it away in the back of my mind. This is the first time I have used it since that time. It seems to be working out well since I have reincarnated it for this site. I am almost to payout for the first time, and it hasn't really taken me that long to do it. I will likely use this name again when I apply for my next business license in a few months.

Hey Roberto. I began to use my user name three years ago when I enter this university. It's just simple. My English name is Chrissie.(I am a Chinese and of course have a Chinese name) And it just means chrissie at university. I am still not sure whether I have used the correct preposition, but I am just so used to it. Whenever I try to register, chrissie have always been used by someone else. Thus I have to add something. From that time on, I use this name on every site I have registered. It is just for the convenience.

Is it easy just to change your Chinese name to English name? Do you switch back and forth between your Chinese and English name? chrissieatu is ok. You might change it when you finish your study.
My grandfather is also a Chinese. He adapted a Philippines name and a Chinese sounding surname. There was a law that allowed the Filipino-Chinese community to change their surname to a more Filipino sounding name but my father don't have a money so he retain his Chinese surname.

I think my Chinese is a good challenge. I tried to change that into French and even turned to my professor, but I still could not find a proper one. I guess I will still use this one for a while. When I need a new one, maybe I will come up with some new ideas.

That's interesting, naming your usernames after Philippine folklore, I bet there's some good stories there. My username, liquorice, is simply the form of confectionary that I like best! I'm addicted to it and I like all the different kinds that you can get (or that I've tried so far..). It's also quite a nice word I suppose. The spelling that I've used is the British version, I believe in America and certain other countries it's spelt licorice. I think it's a good username for me, because each time I see it I think of the confectionary and it makes me happy :)

Yes, you are is right, for example juan_tamad. Tamad is a Tagalog word for lazy. Juan tamad is Philippine legendary lazy person. For his laziness he can't even pick a guava fruit to eat. He lie down under the guava tree and wait for the fruit to feel down on his mouth. That's how lazy he is. The other guys are as not lazy as him.
For sure it's one has it's own favorite, like liquorice for you.

“I like book” and one of hobbies is reading books. Yeah, my username I use currently at mylot is the combination of letters choosing from the sentence which has three words. It is so easy and simple. Can you get it? I place the “i” instead of “I” at the end of my username. Ik is for the word “like” and “boo” stands for book.

That is a perfect username for you, Roberto. I am a potter. My favorite way to pass the time is makingpots. People mention to me often that they thought my user name had to do with a different kind of 'pot'.

I guess it would represent whom I am. Cream97... I never really thought why I actually chose this. I guess I like the way it sounds. I know that 97 is the year that I graduated from high school. So maybe that has something to do with it. Then again, I did not quite realize that I got it from this.

I do have a story. When I first got the internet, I created the name Always051213. "Always" was my favorite word as the first 3 letters were my initials, and the numbers stand for my birthday, 05/12 and my son's birthday, 05/13.
My mom was also on the internet, and very much into a Cat Chat group. She spent her whole day in this group. She knew my user name of course, so one day I decided to fool her by creating a new user name and going into her chat group. The name I created was Katsmeow1213, as it would be fitting for a cat chat group.
I used the name more and more, and eventually did away with Always. I will forevermore be Katsmeow1213.

Hello; I have alot of medical problems which led me to becoming depressed, it didn't help that I lost my son last August. He was only 21. So I have finally decided that I can either give up or live life as the cliche goes to the fullest. I have a wonderful fiance, a 9 (just turned) year old daughter and am making friends. What else could a person ask for? Hope this helps!!

Well my user name started from a game, Runescape. I had trouble coming up with user name, so rios, a last name, came to mind, and i don't know. 58 where the first numbers i hit. Thats how rios58 came to be. I started using the same user name for sites that I sign up like this, because I don't see the point of making up a new one. Plus I'm used to being called Rios anyway.

My username is a combination of a couple of aspects.
When I was 16 my dad managed a bowling alley in Florida. There was a room with 3 pool tables in it where all of the teens in town hung out. I used to go in there and jinx the cute boys as a way of flirting. Most of them didn't even know my name so they started calling me Jinx. It became popular even among those who knew me and most everybody just called me Jinx or Jinxy. I always loved it and held onto it.
When the internet first became popular and I was making my first username I tried to use LadyJ or Ladyjinx. LadyJ was too short at the time and ladyjinx had been taken. I thought and thought. Part of my spiritual beliefs at the time and even to this day is that we are all brothers and sisters in Spirit. So I became Sisterjinx. I have always used it as my handle. I might not log into everything that way but it is almost always my screen name.

elitess... I have been using it in this form since april 2005. It used to be just "elite" back in 2002 but since many had used it before me i change it by adding 2 S. SS does not stat for the german troops but for "still single". Although is not the case anymore, because i am not single, i'm used to the name so i won't change it any time soon.
