Hi there sanguinedream!
Yes. I do believe that by writing, people can go many places. I even know some people who uses books as a form of escape from the real world. That's one benefit that you get from reading aside from many others.

I wanted to make such a post too, Hy, Well I believe its true, always when I read I get to a different world its amazin, I forget that I;m actually reading I just see what I read And I feel it too, thats the difference between watching tv and reading, When you watch tv, you just see it and you;'re imagination is turned off because, you can see everything, but when you read, you don;t see anithing thats why you imagine that it could be what you;re reading, and If you wouldn't have to eat ore sleep than you would read all the day, and keep dreaming and imagining things, Thats why The smart people always read to advance their imagination, Greet.

I teach reaching for a living but I also love reading myself. There is just someting about books and the characters in them that makes reading just so special. I am currently in the Left Behind series (book 5 of 12) and I have to pace myself or I would just run through a book a night! There are so many interesting things and people to meet in books. What is your favorite book? Have you ever read 'Earth Abides'? It was writen in the 40's but tells of a small group surviving on the Earth.
What was the last book you read? What topics do you most enjoy reading about?

it was a fine book abt students i liked it,
as i m also a student of iit and moreover than that i tries to find the psycology of the writer it impressed me alot coz the writer writen it for himself first proving with its help anything is possible in life ..
its not like you always have to be great to survive in this world rather survive being who you are...

Yes I believe. Its really fascinating to read because we get to encounter a lot of personalities coming from different walks of life and we get to know and familiarize a lot of places we have never been into just by reding. So reading is the second best way to travel without literally riding a vehicle. Me, if I like to travel to another place but have no money I just read something interesting about that place so I do not have to travel anymore.

Yeah ,I do believe so,
Recently,I have been reading some books about the history of Ming dynasty(one of the dynasty of ancient China),I love history.
During reading ,sometimes I imagine I was the emperor, sometimes I became a miniser or only a
lady-in-waithing.
I love to imagine myself as the charaters. It can help me to understand it more deep,I think. It 's also very interesting to do so

yes, it is true because a book has a different stories to tell and/or characters to portray so it can give us different world of imagination.
