I really want to have a baby with my very soon to be wife. She wants one too. My question for you all is: was it scary for you when you had your first child? Another question: What are a few good baby names?

There will always be surprises with your first child. It's a stressful, but sort of wonderful time. It was weird when I had my son (my only child) because I knew there was a baby inside of me, but it was so hard for to me imagine. I was almost surprised when he was born because even though I knew it, it was still weird. We also had a down syndrome scare because some test that they ran to test some protein in the amniotic fluid came back abnormal, but it was only because they were calculating the wrong conception date. Even with them telling me that, I still wasn't worried because I just knew that he was okay.

Of course it was scary its one of the biggest things you will ever do in your life having a child but its all so worth it.
Our daughters are called Lauren Beth and Rebecca Amy, they are our whole world and we adore them

I was nervous before the birth of my daughter (and I'm pretty sure her daddy was too). But as soon as they placed her on my belly after the delivery all my fears went away. I looked into her little eyes and knew that everything was going to just fine.
It does take some time to work out a routine and figure out what all their little coos, noises, cries, and faces mean. Basic parenting instinct kicks right away and you soon know how to handle everything.
And forget it's always ok to ask for help from family and friends when you have a new little one!
As for names, we picked Jocelyn for our daughter, we never had a boy name picked out. The ultrasound said it was a gir and luckily she came out one! We would have been a little stumped if she came out a boy.
Best of luck in all your parenting adventures!
