Finished putting together my poetry book...

So, I finally finished putting together my poetry book. I had it almost done originally when my computer died, and then I had to go find my backup document disks (sadly a little outdated, so I lost quite a lot) and then dig through places online where I had posted poems, and write a few new ones...
Anyway, it's finally done, and up for sale. I don't know if anyone is interested in buying one, but I'm excited to have it done, and I thought I'd make a post about it.
Anyone having any luck selling through lulu, or have any stories about their experiences with this site, good or bad?

Congratulations, that is where I have my novel, at lulu too, did you do e-book or just print? You can download my book or buy the printed version.

Wow!!! Good for you. In 2005 I published a ookbook of Danish recipes on Lulu (written in English of course) called Tak For Mad (Tuk For Meh, phonetically), which translates to "Thanks For The Food." I love Lulu. I've made about $1,000 in royalties so far, from selling my books on lulu, in the last three years.

Hey! It's just a self-publishing website. Basically they print your book as it's ordered instead of doing a set number of them to start with, so you can sell your work without having to pour a lot of money into publishing it. I'm hoping some of my friends purchase mine, since they're always asking for my poetry.
Right now things are still a bit rough here. Dusty had a couple seizures this week, and we don't know yet what his reaction to the meds is really. He hasn't been sleeping well, waking up screaming, and we think it might be a side effect, so we've got to get back into the doctor to see. Otherwise, we're doing okay here I guess.
How are you?

I have had modest sales on Lulu with some of my projects. Your best promotion for poetry books is the performance circuit if you can get to read some out live, then sell signed copies to your audience. Good luck.

..no, the only thing I've sold has been what I've bought! - as a gift, etc.. I did break down and buy an isbn number for $100.00 (earned on mylot!) - so hoping my short book will come up on some book lists.. now to work on more.. Good luck with yours!
