I just want to say that there are times that it seems that we are never contented of what we have. It is the idea that we are given good but we still keep seeking for the best. I just wonder and I guess it is what human nature really is. It sometimes lead us to the thought of missing the simple yet satisfying part of our journeys in life. Just like in love, we set requirements and we target the ideal. So where do we end up? I guess we end up hoping that the ones we had left behind still have spaces for us because the one we thought to be ideal doesn't seem to see us that way. Just my thoughts my dear friends, have a great time as well. ^_^

haha, I can never be contented with life too. There's just too much to expect from everywhere and everything we do. Even when we're happy with the results, we want to aim even higher, become even better. So, I wouldn't be contented with life, ever.lol

Me too. Right now, I am not satistied nor contended with my life. I want to do a lot of things for myself and family so I am aiming hight. I guess I would be contented if I have reached to the point that I have done most of the things I want to do in mylife.
Cheers!

It is basic human nature to want more and more. It is this trait that makes humans work, invent, use his/her mind to improve the quality of life.
Even if one has reached a nadir, the peak in his/her particular field or speciality, the person would like to better something else.
I think that this has got to do with the crocodilian or reptilian part of our cortex.

Yes I am exactly the same, I have never found contentment in my life, I always feel like something is missing. I have found this feeling to be worse as I have gotten older, I always feel that I know what it is when I find it, but I wish that I could find it soon as I want to still be young enough to enjoy whatever it is.

I think that contentment comes from looking at what we have instead of what we don't have.
