Happy Mother's day to all Mothers out there

I want to wish all of your moms and very Happy Mother's Day! Being a mom is one of the biggest blessings God has allowed us to live. We do have great times and wonderful times and some really bad times and many, many challenges in our lives as mothers. There are many ups and downs in our lives but that is part of life, right? We cannot expect everything to be peaches and cream or we wouldn't appreciate the good times. It is the bad times that really make us appreciate more the good times. My biggest challenge a few weeks ago when the doctors told us our married son had a unspecified spot on his brain. Well, if it had not been for the power and control of God in our lives I would have crumbled. Believe me, satan tried every way he could to try to make us crumble and break. We had to be strong for our son and his family and for one another. God was in control and we had to keep reminding our selves of this. Praise the Lord, the spot was not something to be concerned about the doctor said. There is no cancer or anything like that in his body. Praise God! For a mom to hear that her child is sick is devastating. We want to see our children to have families and enjoy their lives. I will be watching and enjoying my three children as they live their own lives and grow up in the Lord.
