Yesterday when my friend was playing game with his cell phone. Then a bad smell came to our noses. Then we see smoke just from his cell. I told him to drop it in case it may explose as we saw on TV.Fortunately,it didn't happen. But,the game is over and so is his cell phone. His battery is not original bought with his phone. So my friends.Be careful!

It is his fault that his battery fried. He was the one who went out and got the below market value of the battery. If he kepted with the original battery and took care of the connectors, phone etc it would of been fine. Yes things do need to be replaced after time but to take the cheap way out of cell phone accessories is not the answer. The phone whatever brand you buy needs to have the original accessory bought from the company you bought the product from. Just because the other company a complete knock off is cheaper doesn't necessarily mean that it's better.

I never heard of such a thing before, but I really hate these fake companies that make stupid worthless stuff that looks just like the real thing. Like the new company NOKLA.

With generic batteries many of them aren't built correctly so they burn and explode as you know. It can be very dangerous so that's why I would recommend getting certified authentic batteries directly from the mobile company Pablo

Oh wow, that's terrifying. I don't know what I would do if my phone exploded for no reason. I guess it's like everyone's posting, that you need to be wary of what kind of batteries and accessories you buy. Thanks so much for posting this discussion, I had no idea how dangerous off-brand batteries could be!

If your friend bought the cellphone and battery from top company, asked for guarantee from that company. If it was bnought from some unknown company, maybe you should tell your friend not to bought cellphone there anymore. Only bough a top brand cellphone, incase something happen, he can always ask for another new one if it still in guarantee term.
