What if helping others comes at your own expense?

What if you help someone at the office who is struggling with his work and with your help that person goes on to get promoted ahead of you. Is that fair?

:( When u help u want them to go ahead... but not ahead of u... not fair... but when u do something with good intension, you will be blessed in one or the other way. It might not be the way you expected. But the blessing will follow you.

I"m with you on this one. I think if you help people with good intentions in your heart you will find that you will be blessed in someway or another. I mean, I know it really must be awful that the guy you helped got the promotion that you felt was meant for you, but perhaps you may be destined for better things.
