Help! going to hospital in the morning with my daughter? whats wrong with her?

my 2year old daughter is suffering from an autoimmune disease. she was diagnosed a month ago with JDM which is juvenille dermatomyositis, last week she formed blood clots all the way down the back of both her legs. they are so big that you can acutally see and feel them! they are now saying it is probably an overlap disorder or mixed connective tissue disease because she still has symptoms of JDM too. it could also just be lupus with an anticoagulant disorder which makes your blood clot and can cause seizures, strokes, heart attacks and god knows what else. the poor thing is on steriods at the moment and she has put on sooooooo much weight ;-( she has had so many symptoms that dont really match anything to them at the moment. so they have decided back to hospital tomorrow for the week to start from scratch and re diagnose her, they think there is a piece of the puzzle missing. it is so hard with her being only 2. the blood tests and general anthesetics and biopsies is so sad to watch. but i know what she has is serious and it is in her best interest. i am so scared for her and i have another daugther who is 3. i want to treat them equally, but for those of you who have had one sick child and one healthy child its acutally not that easy. i will keep trying though. so i guess i want to know what she has. so if anyone has known someone whos had clots and suspected autoimmune diseases in the past let me know what it was and the outcome. thanks for listening.
