anyone share this interest as me?

i am someone who likes reading manga(jap comics) or watching anime. basically cartoons though more geared towards those japanese types if you know what i mean. my siblings who are all younger than me tell me that i'm so childish despite my age. my hubby too does not approve as i tend to get really hooked on them if i get a chance to read or watch. thus internet is my only option when my hubby isn't around. i can do as i please then. but sometimes, i too feel am i the only one who's like this. sure i have met very few and i mean really few who likes them but not to the extent that i do i think. even now, i'm reading manga while doing this also. online of course. hehe but i'm not afraid to admit it. what i'd just like to know is are there anyone who's also actually interested in all these stuff? anime and manga? if so, then why do you like them? how did you get started on them?
