Am I pregnant?

Okay, I know as a woman I should probably know this, but I don't. I haven't bought a test yet because in the past when I did, I would go ahead and have my menstrual cycle. It's been two months and nothing, but I'm having cramps and have for the two months. I thought maybe if I asked women who have children, maybe someone has experienced this and were pregnant. I'm a smoker and a huge coffee addict, but both of these are extremely harmful when a woman is pregnant. I've also been under a lot of stress and I know that that could have a little bit to do with missing my period. If anyone has went through this, any kind of response would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding the signs and symptoms of pregnancy is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience signs or symptoms of pregnancy within a week of conception. For other women, pregnancy symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy signs symptoms. If you have been sexually active and experiencing any of the following symptoms it is important to take a pregnancy test. You can see all the symptoms here in this site http://www.americanpregnancy.org/gettingpregnant/earlypregnancysymptoms.html http://www.babycenter.com/0_pregnancy-symptoms-top-ten-signs-you-might-be-pregnant_1146468.bc http://www.womens-health-questions.com/pregnancysymptoms.html just go through these sites, you can confirm it yourself. I wouldn't wait around and play a guessing game since prenatal care in the first trimester is so important. If you think there is any chance at all that you might be pregnant, get a test and see a doctor. If you are pregnant and didn't know it, you can't get that time back that you missed out on.

I finally took a test yesterday and it was positive. I went ahead first thing this morning and took another, just for the reassurance. It confirmed also that I am pregnant. My husband is not very thrilled...we're kind of going through some rough times, and I've been staying with my mom and grandpa. I called him as soon as I found out last night and I came back home so we can talk about what to do. We've got a lot to think about, and a lot of changes to make. I can't picture myself being a single mother if he doesn't want this baby. I don't believe in abortion at all, and I will not flirt with the idea of it if he doesn't accept this. I'll just have to move out and do what I need to do for this baby. I guess right now I just need to worry about seeing a doctor now that I know for sure. I never really knew that cramping was normal when pregnant, they just felt like regular menstrual cramps. Thank you for listening to my rambling, I'm just really stressing about the changes that will have to be made.

My daughter is going through the same thing you are. Her periods are not regular and she might go two months without one and get excited thinking she was pregnant. Somtimes she buys the test and cries when it comes back negative. She stopped buying the test but tries not to get excited if her period is overdue. She's missed periods, but they always come eventually. Some women do continue with cramps for the first few months of pregnancy. People do say stress can make you miss periods. Are you trying to get pregnant? If so, I'll add more comments if you want me to. Everyone decides for themselves, but I didn't smoke or drink if I thought I might be making a baby. If you really want to know if you're pregnant, you'll have to go to the doctor. Some of the kits give false positive and false negatives. I hope I've answered some of your questions!

Well, if you think you are pregnant, you should have stopped or at least lessen your smoking habit, and drinking coffee. Instead, drink milk and take vitamins, so the baby will be healthy. Right now, all you have to do is consult a doctor, he/she will tell you what to. Will suggest for pregnancy test, if the test was positive, the doctor will refer you to have ultrasound so he/she can check if the baby is fine. I'll suggest you to take care the baby no matter what.. OK? Having a baby on your own is a great gift from HIM! And the feeling is unexplainable, mixed emotions. Happiness, and excitement. So, good luck! :)
