Today is mother's day. My mom works abroad as a researcher and earlier today, I sent her an e-card as its difficult to send her a post mail. When we called her, we passed the phone around to greet her but what struck me was she always and repeatedly reminded me to doctor as I had an attack of my sickness when she had a vacation here.
It was these few moments like these that melted my heart to feel tears running in my eyes feeling the pure love and care of my mom.
Have you such experience with you mom or any loved one feeling your heart melting away tears falling down coz you know that person love you?

yes moms are always thinking about their children, my son is 31 and I still think about him as well. This is just all part of being a mom.

Oh yes, definitely. I just started a discussion on how I don't feel worthy of my mom. I saw her this morning and gave her a card. Inside was a 10 dollar gift card to Bath and Body Works, a favorite store of hers she rarely indulges in because of money. She knew I didn't buy the gift card, she knew it was only through racking up points on a reward site that I was able to give her that. But she started crying. She said she knew how hard things were for me because I was on SSI, and she knew how much time it took to get points so I could get her that gift card. I only got her a small thing, but it was so big to her. And that she valued that gift as much as if I'd gotten her a diamond made my heart melt.
