What did you get for Mother's day?

I am sitting here looking at all the beautiful things my 7 year old son did for me. So happy of himself as he should be.
He made me a beautiful poem, gave me homemade coupons good for hugs,kisses,cleaning of his room,made me a beautiful dolphin necklace and earring set which was placed in his own homemade box.
My older boys which live in kentucky called and told me they loved me.
My daughters got be a certificate for a massage.
Hubby bought me a huge hanging plant which is beautiful.
I have to admit my favorite is from my youngest son with all the hard work and thought he put into making my mothers day so special.
Now please share with us What did you get ?

Well I didn't get anything from my son but just a kiss and a hug. Its summer vacation and we are on a tight budget so my son could not afford to buy me anything. But we bought our grandma a cake and some ice cream and called my mom to greet her as she is working in a far place.

I had a kiss from my kids. And the best was a message from my husband. We talked on the net coz he is working abroad. He sent me an instant message while we were talking, it says "Happy Mothers Day luvs, for me you are the best mom in the world. Thank you very much for your love and for your undying love to our kids. I love you very much." Isn't that sweet? I was so touched that I suddenly cried.

Me and my little brother went to the nearest bakeshop in our village and bought her a chocolate mousse cake. She loves eating and a cake is something that our family could share and eat together. We divided it into equal parts and distributed it among us. We also bought a chocolate mousse cake for our grandmother. She is also like a mother to me. She takes care of me and buys me what I need and want.

Mothers Day in the Uk was back in March, i received a huge boquet of flowers and a CD from my youngest kids, and a yummy HUGE box of continental choccies and a CD from my older son.. i was in heaven!! haha..

That was sweet.
My daughter bought me a 'Pink', yes pink tool bag thing. In it I have a pink hammer, tape measure, level, needle nose pliers, and all kinds of stuff.
I don't think my husband will be bothering my tools anytime soon.
One son called home, and the other kissed me and said 'Happy Mother's Day Mama.'
But I got my pink hammer lol....it was a lovely Mother's Day.

I got a rose and some cake. Mmmm cake! :)
Plus I got to sleep in this morning, and this evening I'm going to be able to go out for a walk and take some time for myself. That's the major part of my gift.
Considering my son is only turning two this month, it's pretty much a gift from my husband. I'm already thinking what I want to do for him on Father's Day now. :)

I gave my mom a chocolate mousse cake as per requested. She likes sweets specially cakes. Visiting her at home really matters the most.

Aren't children just so precious? When they get older they don't understand why we'd rather have a handmade card than a store bought, they don't know how we treasure those things!
I got an e-card from one of my sons and I think the other will probably call today--they live on the other side of the country, ya know. I went to church this morning and that was nice. I think I'll buy myself something nice to tie my hair back with for Mother's Day!
I'm so glad your son made the time to call you, I remember you said he worked a lot of hours and gave you a blanket "Happy ____" for the whole year!

I got really nice cards they made. my 10 year-old daughter wrote: thanks for letting me use the internet, taking care of us, providing us food though you don't have much money... stuffs like that.... my 5 year-old son draw two number eight with hair ( i think it's the two of us) holding hands and draw hearts on his card...
