I have never heard of these.. unless you have the scents and spray them on something. I used to sell ones that had been hand dipped and they actually smelled really good. But I have to watch what type I burn as I am allergic to a lot of different scents, but usually do the sticks or the cones.

I dont believe they are good for ailments. They just make the air smell nice. But i do know of a product thats good for long standing. My ex friend used to go to a health food store called GNC and buy a pill form herb called "YOHIMBE". He stood up for a very long time.

I love incense. I just bought a bunch more lately and I think the brand is Wild Berry Incense or something like that. I use a bottle burner to catch the ash. I don't have a real favorite scent I just like the calming effect of the smoke and smell.

my sister used to burn candles all the time to try to eliminate the odor from them smoking and their dogs not sure if any of the candles were incense but she stopped burning awhile ago and since she has a little one now that takes up her free time

Sented candles and incense are a whole other world. The candles are nice too. I usually buy the little tea lites or the votites. Its just incredible how long they burn. I have so many candle holders and candles you would not believe it. I have to stay away from anywhere the areas that have them or i may end up with more.

Incense on a stick is so much more convenient than powder or cones but if you don't mind using the charcoal you could experiment with blending your own. I looked into it at one time and found some interesting how to articles online explaining the process. I never did get around to doing it though. It's just one of those labor intensive things that is easier to pay for. I like lavendar, sandlewood, jasmine and rose the best.

I love the way they smell! I use to burn them all the time until I met my fiance who can't stand the smell. I was just talking about burning an incense the other day to him just to smell the house up. That to me is one thing that candles, air freshners, etc don't have. That lingering smell that seems to over power all the other smells in a home. I always loved the ocean scented ones. Or any earthy scented one for that matter. =]

The pure incense that are rolled look like the stick incense but there is no stick. Smells so nice. No wood smell. Can be bought in those store that have clothes and stuff from India. They cost a bit more but if ya love incense thats the way to go.

Hello dear jdyrj. I love to use incense. These days I have been using incense at home as I am having a rest. I love the smell very much. I don't care what smell it is so long as it is incense, but my favorite is "incense coils sandal-wood". I burn at least two or three pieces a day when I have a rest at home. Like you say, the smell is so good.

I have never tried the coils. The kind im taking about above looks like a stick incense but its is pure incense, rolled. Much nicer than with stick. You can find them in thoses shops with imported clothes from India. You dont get the wood stick smell.
