So, what's your favorite Sonic the Hedgehog game?

I love the originals but I do have Sonic Adventures 1 and 2 for the Sega Dreamcast and I still love to play them.

I personally like sonic better 2d, but some of the newer games are not bad. The new game, that has sonic turning into a warehog... Now that's games pretty sweet, if only I could remember the name... Hmm, oh well.

I started playing Sonic years ago on Sega. I instantly loved it. I like the 3-D Models they have now, but I still think the original Sonic is my favorite. I have a hard time keeping up with him in the newest games. He goes so fast and is all over the place, I sometimes feel as though my head is spinning.

My heart still belongs to the Sonic of the Sega MasterSystem II days. I'm actually hoping to find a reasonably priced system one day just to relive those moments again. I've brought the various other releases since on various different consoles and as much as I want to I just haven't been able to get into them. He seems to move way to fast for me and I just can't seem to control him like I use to do.

My favorite sonic game has to be Sonic the Hedgehog 2 but that's only because I've been playing that since the moment I set my hand on a controller. Other than that all of the 2D sonic games are sick, especially Sonic and Knuckles because of the lock on capabilities and Sonic CD because I said so. The 3D sonic games are ok but they could be alot better, they just need more time.

i personally like the 2-d versons of the games. they always have the element of speed down pat. in the 3-d vesions, ive noticed that sega has had a hard time achiving the speed that genisis had in its former glory. but in exception my favorite sonic game is sonic adventure 2. it has speed and gives me a good trip down memory lane.

i started out with the original Sonic the Hedgehog way back in the early 90's and i currently play the new 3D versions. im going to be honest here...i like the new games better. theres more to do and the new games are much more expansive and problem solving oriented. they make you think just a little bit more than the originals. im pretty much the same way with all of my games. i like a little challenge in my game play, not so much that i cant beat the game, but enough where it makes it interesting.

Sonic was great in the two-dimensional age, but his games are crap these days. I still love to play the original Genesis titles, but I despise 3D Blast and Spinball. I also love to play as Sonic in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
