Wow, what a question. I want so many things, that it's hard to decide. I never truly thought of this. I may have to give it some thought. But I know one of the things I want most is a family, a family to raise and love and care for. A family who I can hopefully help in their future.

I would like to set up a trust fund with enough assets and property in it that it would make life somewhat easier for future generations of my family.

I'd like to have three digits in my age and Hartsaw given as my last name on my gravestone! LOL My final wish for myself would be to set a good example to others by showing courage and faith during my dying process--which doesn't mean not expressing discomfort/pain if that's part of my dying process but simply means that I want to be a good witness of my faith. One thing I would hope for would be that all debts would be settled. One debt would be the kind that we usually think of: paying back what we owe in cash But I'm not only talking about that but I'm also talking about righting wrongs. I don't want to leave people behind who might be at odds with me and feeling regrets later. Like I have a former friend from college who ended up hanging up on me over and over again whenever I called her so that I finally just had to leave her alone. It would be nice if she and I could settle our differences. We're so close in age that, if I die elderly, she might even have gone first or wouldn't be aware of it. However, if something were to happen to me tomorrow, she would probably wish she had treated me decently after our being close friends for so long. She spread ugly lies about Mark and me that she surely knew weren't true, and I'd like for her to know that Mark and I are fine. Mark has some serious health problems and has to use a wheelchair now for long distances, but he's had a good life, and we're still like family to each other. We both have fond memories of our college days together. This is in case this woman happens to be reading this now. If something were to happen to Mark, me, or both of us, we'd hope that she'd think about all of the fun we had together instead of how she started acting in 1977. There have been other people who have hurt me in ways that were uncalled for over the years. If any of them happen to be reading this now, forgive yourselves. But be sure to promote kindness as the way to go, and think before you say or do hurtful things to people. I've even had some career opportunities taken from me because of others who thought it sporting to make me look bad to the wrong people. Again, I would want people not to do this kind of thing because it's meanspirited. However, I would want them to know that, when they caused doors to slam, God opened windows and other doors for me, so no hard feelings. In short, to each of you, please forgive yourselves. No regrets. The past is the past...

I'd also like to set up a trust fund, specifically, a charity remainder trust, giving up my home to a recognized charity and the rest of my assets to my sister, who is the only one I trust. She's the only family I've got right now. There's no one else that I would trust.
