So after years of doctors trying to figure out what is going on with my Dad they finally diagnosed him with Parkensens Plus. From what I have read it is a drug resistant disease, and in the later stages (which he is in now) he has been having problems eating and drinking. He chokes on everything which has caused him to get Pneumonia. Now it has gotten so bad that he has been in the hospital. We are not sure how long he will need to be there but he has to see a specialist tomorrow. So I just wanted to do something to keep myself busy so i did this. So yeah I'm sitting at home worrying.

I'm sorry to hear your dad is going through so much trouble right now. I hope they are able to get him to the point of being able to maintain it and deal with the pain. I have been worried over the past few months about my mom. She wasn't feeling good a while back and went to the doctor and they sent her for tests and eventually found out she had a small stroke. Well that is when the problems started piling on. She was always sore and weak and went back for some check ups and after weeks of tests they found out she had MS, so she will become more and more disabled as time goes on. Then they found her type 2 diabetes and at last they think she could be getting glaucoma. It's been bad year for her but she is actually handling it in stride. She amazes me how strong she has been with all this. Get this, she even cooked a huge meal today (on Mother's Day of all days) so that us kids could stop by there and have a good meal.
Anyways I just wanted to share my worries as well, and I hope all gets better with your Dad, or at least to the point where you don't have to worry so much!

And thank you! And yeah she seemed to have a pretty good day, it made her happy to have everyone there. So I think we just have to look for those moments when things seem to be going good and always keep those times in our hearts in case the future holds more bad things. I hope all works out for your dad though!
