Are there any offenders living near you?

I had just gotten done reading my emails, when one of friends sent me and email. In the email, it contained information about how to find out if any offenders live around, near or beside you. Well, when I put this email address in, I found that almost 200 of them live close by, one lives in the same park as I do. This guy is a offender and is registered. The thing about it is, no one even mentioned this to anybody in the whole park. I live in on post housing in Ft. Hood, TX with 3 kids between the ages of 11 months- 5 years. It showed a map, it's color-coded and labelled. What's even better? Well, when you click on the colors, you get to see exactly who they are, where they live, their priors, etc. The one that lives in the same park, he had offended a child. It's better to be safe and prepared than sorry that you didn't take the time to look them up, and find out that something has happened that you consider to the unthinkable just because the person seems nice.
