What does PARAPLEGIA mean?

Paraplegia is when the lower part of a person's body is paralysed. It is usually caused by an accident or exists since birth due to a congenital condition. These people have use of their arms, neck, head, etc. They can breathe on their own. They can't walk and are incontinent. (I'm an R.N.)
