Hi! Welcome to myLot. I guess the weidest thing I did to stop my writers block is that Ive walked for miles! Walking clears my head but I guess walking for miles on end is bad idea either.^_^ My feet were already complaining 5 mnutes before I got home. When I took off my shoes they were a bit bigger than they usually are so maybe they were swollen. I couldnt walk straight for about 3 days after that incident. Funny thing is I dont have to look for any new topics anymore. I just wrote about my extreme walking experience.LOL
Well, about your fasting, I agree that its not healthy. I also think that you wont get any new ideas with that, just a weakened body. Well, I guess if it worked that time its ok as long as, like you said, you wont do it again.HAve a nice day^_^

I like your idea. Bullets. At least you get to start writing. But stare at other people with writer's block? LOL! I guess I'll try both.

I also recommend walking. It really does help to get your thoughts flowing. I always carry a notebook and pen with me and I can often be seen sitting on a bench or a rock or a fallen tree, making notes about what I have just been thinking, so I won't forget it when I get back home.
I have had some really good ideas when I have been out walking and they worked out well for me.

When I was around fifteen, I would go outside and pace the neighborhood. I had several spots that I liked to have all to myself. We have an office building right across the street from our house. I always thought that was kind of weird, a huge office building in the middle of a neighborhood. Anyway, at night I would hit rocks at the building with a stick. Sometimes, I would go down the road to 'my' bridge and watch the water quietly flow by.
