Thats great! You are lucky enough to spend the special day with your mother. My mother lives far away from me, so I could not meet her personally. We talked over the phone. I miss her so much, not only on the mother's day but at any other time also. I wish I could spend some good time with my mom at least on the mother's day!

My Mom has been deased for 30 yrs. I went over to my daughters house and she cooked for me. I took my 96 year old Aunt a plate, and she loved it, She is like a Mother to me, she is my Fathers sister. and she always took care of us. I also took my Motherinlaw a Plate. she loved it too!

I do quite envy you mainly because I wasn't able to spend time with my mom this mothers' day. She lives with my father in the province while I'm here in the city. I have my own family now with a lovely daughter and they are my companions during this special day. In addition, my work is here in the city. If we ever went to the province that day, the expenses will be high and will take a great toll on our cashflows. I guess spending with my parents, particularly with my mom, will have to wait a while until such time that I could handle several days off from my work.
But I do miss my mom so much, specially the times when I was still single and unmarried. There are times that even if we do go to the province to visit them, it seems that time is so fast while we're there. Seldom do we spend more than a day with her. I'd like to make it up with her in these coming months, hopefully.
