My cat was barfing everywhere for 2 days after each meal. She's usually healthy.
I went to check her kitty litter box and she had no kitty litter. My cat was holding it for 2 days and couldnt hold it so she barfed! .

Keep a close watch on her for a few days and make sure that she is using the box okay. You're going to have to take care of the box, it's for the cats sake. Sometimes holding eliminations for a couple of days can cause some problems. Usually it doesn't but it is better to keep an eye on her and make sure that everything is coming out okay.
Forgetting is so human and you shouldn't feel so bad. It's a life lesson that reminds us that we need to check things for ourselves at times. Especially when it involves a small companion that can't tell us what's wrong. I know your cat forgives you and that's all that matters.

I have been and she fine. She just really did quite a number of errr droppings in the box. I've already changed it myself.

Isn't it wonderful that we are so attached to our companion animals that we even check their droppings? It reminds me of when our Rottweillers decided to eat their leash. We had the brother and sister and one afternoon they got a hold of one of their 6 foot training leashes. They very carefully chewed it in half and each took a half. One of them got the end with the hook, and it was carefully chewed off. Then they proceeded to chew it into 3 sections and ate it!!! It took a day or two and then when they pooped we got to see bright blue webbed poop coming out. The neighbors even stopped and watched in fascination!
I am very happy that the cat is fine. Sometimes I feel like I have adopted the entire animal world as my own, and worry about their safety and lives. I think it comes from people who don't care that much about their companion animals.
It brings to mind about Rocky (one of the above mentioned pair). He needed to go out in a hurry and both my Mom and I were in bed. I had gotten up to get a drink of water when I heard water running in the bathroom and went in to check things out...especially with it being the bath room. I darted in and stopped short-Rocky was in the tub peeing. Talk about animals thinking and analyzing a situation!

Hi rebelagent,
Well, I'm flabbergasted!
What sort of cat IS it that you have there?
That's got to be the most well-trained, self-respecting, DISCIPLINED cat I've ever heard of.
Any other cat would have just gone and done it in your brother's mouth while he was asleep and snoring (or worse).
I really DO think you should pamper that particular cat. It deserves a medal or something.
I wonder if you can get your cat listed in the Guineas (spelling?) Book of Records for that feat? Seriously, it's worth a try - your cat really does deserve some recognition for such an uncompromising act of fidelity to standards of hygiene and civil decency.

You pay your brother to look after the litter tray? Sorry but I think that's laziness. If you want to be a pet owner you have to take the good with the sh1t. Excuse the pun. It's important to be familiar with how often your cat goes to the toilet and what it looks like etc.
If you have to take your cat to the vet for some reason one oft he first things they'll ask you is 'Has she been going to the toilet as usual?' You'd belike 'uh...I dunno.'
I just feel sorry for the cat. She would have been in extreme discomfort for those 2 days. Keep an eye on her litter!

Oh poor thing. I don't think most cats would be able to hold it in for that long a time. lol, Maybe you should make your brother hold it for as long as the cat.(Just kidding)I'd suggest double checking on the box from now on. To forget is human after all.
