well, you can believe or not but in my place there is kind of myth if you take money in the streets you should give 10% away from the amount that you found otherwise you will loose bigger amount of money in next time.
do you believe in this matter then? i also don't want to believe it but i don't know why it seems quit true also. when i picked up cents in the streets or perhaps about $1 in streets and didn't give away 10% from those amount, i got lost more money on the day after and its not happened only in one time
so, from now on when i picked some amount of money in streets, i will give away 10% of those amount

so far that i know, you just drop those 10% amount in place where you found the money. so it doesn't give to certain people. i know its ridiculous but cause its happened to me whenever i found mony in streets then i just do it

I heard of this myth before but the amount desired to give away is not restricted to 10%. It is up to the person who picked up the money, if you pickup, you will need to spend it hurriedly because bad luck will come after you.

What if i kept the money in my wallet without plans of spending it... i found a 20 peso bill a few weeks ago... and the same bill is still in my wallet... i decided to keep it as a souvenir since it is so rare to fine money lying around the street... and the sort of bad luck that you mentioned hasn't happened to me... and i sure hope it won't...

it is just a myth nothing more. I have found various
amounts of money and never had anything bad happen
to me moneywise at all. people make up all sorts of
myths and thats all they are just myths with no
truth to them.do not believe them.

I have often picked up money in the street, from small value coins to high value notes. I also drop small change into charity collecting boxes and I buy a lot of things from charities which sell goods for fundraising.
I don't know if I believe the myth but in my own experience I have lost money from theft and I have found money in the streets, and I would say that the value of both is about equal.

yes, yes, yes....no doubt about it. I even lost a great deal of money that caused me feel wanna to die. That sorrowful thing happened recently, and I think it was the result of my last "fortune" when I pick up a little money on the street months ago. Wanna know how much is that "fortune"? It was just about 2 buck, but I had to lost my money about 300.00 buck!Believe it or not, it is a fact, a hard fact!

Oh.. Well as I know when you give out heartly you gain more from it. I have never noticed it your way though. But it's good to give and share to others. One good deed gets you more in return.

I have never heard of this before, but I do believe you could be correct about it. I never hardly ever find anything so I really don't have to worry about it. If I ever do find something, I usually spend it or give it to someone else anyway other than myself.

I believe thta whatever you have stated should be a myth only, it has no logic. It happended with you that you lost the money on the same day, when you picked it up, may be a coincidence. I do not believe in such things and if I happen to find any money on a street, I would keep it with me, without giving 10% to anyone..........LOL!

The largest amount of money I have ever found in the street is £5 which was on the pavement outside a charity store so I went in and just popped into their donation box. Pennies if I find I pass on for good luck but other coins I tend to keep. Keep giving the 10% if it works for you. Ellie :D

I have never heard of that one before, if it was a myth of where I live then I would believe in it probably as I do tend to stick with these kinds of things and I am certainly superstitious!!
