well i have not heard about any water being used in some kind of therapy. i have heard that some waters from the springs, hot and geo thermal springs have some kind of healing properties. hope that this kind of therapy catches up. have a nice day.

There are several post like this and I think water is a good thing to wash your body with. But I also have read that a person got drowned by drinking too much water. I think there is a medical term about it i just forgot what its called. Our body could only take so much water at a time or we might die from it if we over drank it too.

Healing Wonders of Water - Uses of water therapy are found in this book.
Water has lots of therapeutic benifits. Just by drinking you get some therapy already like quenching your thirst or relieving you from choking. Steam and inhalation is good for colds and cough. Hot and cold compress are best for muscle pains and cramps. I got a temporomandibular (TMJ) a few years ago and my left jaw was like protruding. I thought my jaw was dislocated. But the dentist told me it's just a traumatized jaw and advised me to apply hot compress. After about ten days, the swelling was gone. There are many more uses of water therapy and you can find them in Healing Wonders of Water.
